Shabbar F. Danish, MD completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers College, and medical school at Rutgers-RWJ. He finished his general neurosurgical training at the University of Pennsylvania and then completed a fellowship in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery as well as a fellowship in radiosurgery for brain tumors at the same institution. Upon fellowship completion, Dr. Danish was recruited back to Rutgers-RWJ Medical School as Director of the Functional Neurosurgery Program. He currently serves as Chief of Neurosurgery at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. His special interests include minimally invasive and comprehensive approaches to brain tumor therapy. In addition, he specializes in GammaKnife therapy, surgery for Parkinson’s, Epilepsy, and pain.

Kevin T. Sperber, MD received his MD degree in 1996 from the State University of New York Health Sciences, Brooklyn. Prior to joining the North Bronx Healthcare Network, Dr. Sperber trained at the Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn), the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center, and Beth Israel Medical Center and was on the staff of the Columbia University Medical Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases. His specialties include physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain management and palliative care.
